EN Stories are forgotten, images fade, but the music remains for all time. What would a film be without its background music? Probably a rather bleak affair, because it is only through the combination of image and sound that moods and emotions are transmitted.



The Silent Explosion Orchestra offers a concert event for young and old. Here, a big band meets a classical string ensemble, presenting different types of film music from pop and soul music to big band swing and symphonic orchestral works.



The orchestra brings the glamour of Hollywood to the stage and ensures that goosebumps and emotions are transferred to the audience.



The Nacht der Filmmusik is presented by the well-known and popular presenter Roland Kunz from Saarländischer Rundfunk, who understands like no other how to convey content in a vivid and entertaining way at the same time. The presentation is in German.
