The film tells the story of Cian, a footballer who gets attacked on a night out. He struggles to come to terms with his career-ending injury. It follows him as he undertakes a search for his own identity in a small town in the Irish midlands, where Gaelic football is a religion and one's identity is defined by what you can do on the pitch.

The film was made following the writers/directors’ short film Drifting, starring BAFTA-winning actor Paul Mesca.

It was shot on location in Granard, County Longford in late 2021.

The film won the Bankside Films Marketplace Award for Best Irish Film at the 2021 Galway Film Fleadh in 2022.
